Warming centers and shelters

(KBSI)- Warming centers and shelters have been opened across Missouri and Illinois to aid those affected by the recent winter storm.

Missouri:

– Carbondale: 608 East College St. and Good Samaritan House, 701 S. Marion St.
– Cape Girardeau: Salvation Army Warming Center, 701 Good Hope (closed Jan. 9)
– Farmington: Multiple locations, including City Hall and Civic Center
– Fredericktown: Training room at Police Department; Madison County Health Department
– Kennett: FCC SafeHaven, 1201 Ely St.
– Marble Hill: First Baptist Church, 502 Broadway St.
– Perryville: Perryville Senior Center (24-hour shelter)
– Poplar Bluff: Bread Shed overnight warming center, 203 N. D St.
– Scott City: FEMA building and First Assembly of God, 312 Dearborn St.

Illinois:

– Anna: Fire Department (temporarily closed, but available on case-by-case basis)
– Carmi: Trinity Assembly of God
– Carbondale: 608 East College St. and Good Samaritan House, 701 S. Marion St.
– Chester: Public Library
– Du Quoin: City Hall
– Eldorado: First Christian Church
– Harrisburg: Heaven’s Kitchen/Presbyterian Annex Building
– Herrin: Civic Center
– Mount Vernon: Rolland Lewis Community Building (closed)
– Norris City: Indian Creek Township Building
– Red Bud: City Hall, Public Library, and Regional Hospital
– Ridgway: KC Hall
– Steeleville: Nutrition Center at City Hall
– Vienna: High School building
