Warrant issued for Kentucky woman charged with animal cruelty
LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect charged with animal cruelty.
In November 2024, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into the abandonment of multiple dogs at a Smithland residence. Investigators found the animals confined in a camper without adequate food, water or ventilation, resulting in the deaths of three dogs.
A warrant has been issued for Regina Tackwell, 44, on 12 counts of second-degree cruelty to animals. Anyone with information leading to her arrest is urged to contact the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office at (270) 928-2122 or their local law enforcement agency.
