West Frankfort students recognized at Youth & Government General Assembly

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill., (KBSI) — Students from Frankfort Community High School participated in the Youth & Government General Assembly this past weekend, earning multiple honors.

Freshman Emilie Pyles placed second overall in the legislative assistant forum finals.

Junior Hunter Loeh ran as a candidate for secretary of state and was named most effective legislator in the House of Representatives.

Other members of the West Frankfort delegation also presented legislation and contributed to the event’s press team.
