MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – West Kentucky Crime Stoppers will implement a new tip software.

Beginning Wednesday, May 1, the public can text “WKY” to 847411.

Tipsters will then be sent a link to follow which will allow them to anonymously submit a tip.

Tipsters can also download the P3 Tips application on a mobile device to submit tips.

Anonymous tips that lead to arrests could be eligible for rewards up to $1,000.

For the past six years, West Kentucky Crime Stoppers has used Tip411 as a way to submit anonymous tips using SMS text, calling and web.

Starting May 1, the group will start using P3 Tips.
