BOWLING GREEN, Ky., (KBSI) — Four men have been indicted in western Kentucky on charges related to immigration and passport offenses, federal authorities announced.

According to indictments unsealed this week, the men were charged in separate cases with crimes including illegal reentry after deportation and use of a false passport.

Santiago Tehandon-Paneda, 45, a Mexican citizen, was charged with reentry after deportation and false claim to U.S. citizenship. He faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted.

Feliz Morales-Rangel, 38, and Francisco Campos-Guardian, 32, both Mexican citizens, were charged with reentry after deportation. Morales-Rangel faces up to 10 years in prison, while Campos-Guardian faces up to two years.

Bogdan Drapac, 41, a Romanian citizen, was charged with use of a false passport. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

The cases are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky. An indictment is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
