Wildland fire contained in Martin
MARTIN, Tn., (KBSI)- A swift response from the City of Martin Fire/EMS team contained a wildland fire yesterday morning on the Highway 45 bypass.
The blaze, which started just off the highway, spread up the hill on both sides and into a nearby wooded area.
Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly before lunch and extinguished the flames within 30-45 minutes.
The fire has been contained, with no reports of injuries or structural damage
The City of Martin Fire/EMS department demonstrated rapid response and effective firefighting efforts to minimize the spread and impact of the fire.
