Williamson County sheriff asks for public’s help identifying suspect, vehicle in reported aggravated battery

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick asks for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect and vehicle in an aggravated battery.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of Spillway Road approximately one mile south of Route 13 for a report of a possible battery on Saturday, November 5 at about 4:30 a.m.

The suspect vehicle was described as dark colored vehicle setting on Spillway Road with its hazard lights activated.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office asks the public if anyone saw this vehicle or suspect sitting on the side of the roadway to contact them with any information.

Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle is asked to contact the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office at 618-997-6541 or the Williamson County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-414-TIPS (8477).

All callers may remain anonymous. Information leading up to the arrest of these individuals may lead up to a $1,000 cash reward.
