Williamson County Sheriff’s Office welcomes K9 Meta

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has a new K9.

K9 “Meta” and handler Tyson Baker are familiar faces in Williamson County. They previously worked together as a K9 team for the Marion Police Department.

Deputy Baker and K9 “Meta” will continue their service to the citizens of Williamson County and join K9’s Bara, Roxy, Nitro and Shadow at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

K9 Meta is from the country of Holland. She is a Belgian Malinois. K9 Meta was born on February 11, 2017. She weighs 58 pounds.
