Williamson County woman arrested for disorderly conduct
CARTERVILLE, IL (KBSI) — Williamson County Deputies responded to a call for a neighbor dispute in Carterville, Illinois.
When deputies arrived, they spoke with the homeowner who had made the complaint and stated that her neighbor, Trissa McClintock had been in and out of her yard several times through the night, yelling and banging on things.
Deputies say they were familiar with the suspect because of prior calls, and they had responded to that home about 40 minutes before for a trespassing complaint.
The homeowner told deputies that she was asleep when McClintock came onto her property the first time and began yelling which caused her to wake up.
The homeowner further stated that McClintock eventually left her property returning to her home before law enforcement arrived.
Deputies went to McClintock’s home to speak with her about the incident, as they did they saw that the lights inside the home were on. However, deputies say when they pulled into the drive way, they watched the lights inside shut off.
Upon speaking with McClintock, she stated that she had just woke up, and had not been outside of her home for the past few hours. She was advised she was under arrest, handcuffed, and taken to a patrol vehicle.
While deputies conducted an inventory of her belongings, they say they found a clear plastic bag in her purse that had a white crystal-like substance later field tested positive for cocaine.
