Winner chosen for official “I Voted” sticker for Cape Girardeau County Elections

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A new design for the official “I Voted” sticker for Cape Girardeau County Elections has been chosen.

The winning design will be used as the “I Voted” sticker in all elections held in the county for 2022 and 2023.

The public voted on the artwork of six finalists.

The winning sticker was designed by Lydia Strickland of Cape Central High School. The first and second runners-up was Addison Clippard and Lillian Michael, respectively, who are students at Notre Dame Regional High School.

The contest began on September 30, 2021 and was open to all residents of Cape Girardeau County.
