Winter Storm update: Power Restoration Efforts Continue

PERRY COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI)- Citizens Electric Corporation reported progress Saturday in restoring power to affected areas, with 132-line workers and support staff working to repair damaged lines.

An aerial patrol was dispatched to assess damage and identify areas of need, utilizing efficient and effective methods to inspect remote and hard-to-reach areas.

Despite ongoing disruptions, crews remain committed to restoring power as quickly and safely as possible.

“It’ll be another full day of restoration, but we’re dedicated to getting our members back online as soon as possible, safely,” said the VP of Operations in an internal update.

The corporation continues to work diligently to address power outages resulting from Winter Storm Blair and Cora.
