Woman arrested for failure to appear on meth charge

CARTERVILLE, Ill. (KBSI) – A Carterville woman faces a drug charge after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies served an arrest warrant.

Amanda D. Anderson was arrested on a Williamson County arrest warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Williamson County sheriff’s deputies served an arrest warrant in the 400 block of Missouri Avenue in Carterville on January 12 at 8:27 p.m..

Deputies searched Anderson and found 1.29 grams of methamphetamine in her front pocket.

She was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
