Woman arrested on drug charges in Williamson County

HERRIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Kassie M. Pope was arrested Aug. 13 following a traffic stop in Herrin, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

A search of the vehicle revealed more than 38 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with drug distribution.

Pope, whose driver’s license was revoked, was cited for methamphetamine delivery, possession, and other charges.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Williamson County Jail.
