Woman facing drug charges after found passed out in vehicle

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces drug charges after sheriff’s deputies found her passed out in her vehicle in Murray.
Rebecca V. Widmer, 42, of Almo faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance 1st offense, possession of controlled substance 1st deg, 1st offense – methamphetamine (Class D felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
On December 31, 2023 around 8:30 p.m. deputies found Widmer passed out in her vehicle near S. 12th Street in Murray.
She was believed to be intoxicated and was found in possession of illicit drugs, according to Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies.
Widmer was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
