Woman facing meth charge in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – A woman faces a methamphetamine charge after Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies received a suspicious person report.

Deputies were dispatched to a home in rural Franklin County on February 13 around 11:21 p.m.

Jennifer L. Mayo, 41, of Patoka faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony.

Mayo was found to be in possession of substances that field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, according to Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon.

She was arrested and taken to the Franklin County Jail.
