Woman found dead along Scott County road identified

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities have identified a woman whose body was found Saturday morning along County Highway 529 near Sikeston.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as 35-year-old Kali Hasty of Sikeston. Her family has been notified.
The sheriff’s office and Major Case Squad are investigating Hasty’s death as suspicious. Her cause and manner of death have not been determined.
Investigators are conducting interviews and following up on leads.
Anyone with information or who noticed suspicious activity near County Highway 529 during the early morning hours of July 25 should call the Scott County Sheriff’s Office at 573-545-3525.
