Woman sought in Pulaski County shooting investigation arrested

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — A woman sought for questioning in connection with a shooting that injured two people has been arrested, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Amanda Marie Sherrill, 41, was taken into custody at approximately 11:45 p.m. and transported to the Pulaski County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Earlier Tuesday, the sheriff’s office issued a public alert identifying Sherrill as a person of interest in a shooting investigation involving two injured victims. Officials warned that she was believed to be armed and dangerous and asked the public not to approach her.
According to the sheriff’s office, Sherrill was last seen walking on Tampa Road toward St. Robert before her arrest.
Sheriff Stacy Ball thanked officers with the St. Robert Police Department for their assistance in locating and apprehending Sherrill.
Additional information about the shooting and any charges is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
