Woman walking to her car gets robbed at gunpoint in Cape Girardeau
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) -A man pointed a gun at a woman and stole her purse.
According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department on September 23rd at about 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the 700-Block of William for a report of an armed robbery.
The victim told officers that a white man had approached her with a firearm pointed at her while she was getting into her vehicle.
The suspect stole the victim’s purse and fled from the area on foot.
No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
