Woofstock to raise money for Southeast Missouri Pets
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A fundraiser for Southeast Missouri Pets will be held Friday, August 16 through Saturday, August 17 in Cape Girardeau.
Woofstock will be held at Capaha Park.
The barking good time will raise money for Southeast Missouri Pets. SEMO Pets is a no kill pet center providing shelter care and advocacy for homeless pets. They also provide spay and neuter resources and education for people.
There will be food trucks, vendors, live music and more.
Friday, August 16
- 4-8 p.m. – cruise in (There will be hodogs, chips and sweets.) Bring your car.
Saturday, August 17
- 8 a.m.-4 p.m. – car show and vendors
- 8 a.m.-9 p.m. food vendors
- 8 a.m.-noon – registration
- 2-3 p.m. & 3:30-4:30 p.m. – live music by Eric Scott and Brett Yount
- 3 p.m. – awards
- 5-6 p.m. – live music by Old Cape Road
- 6:30-8:30 (or 9) p.m. – live music by GenX
There will also be a DJ, raffles, 50/50 drawing, hot wing contest and a car show with goodie bags for all participants (human or otherwise)
