ZEIGLER, Ill., (KBSI) — The Zeigler Police Department said it has received several leads from the public and identified persons of interest in a burglary reported at Z-R Roadhouse on the morning of Christmas Eve.

Police said investigators are releasing clearer still images from security footage in hopes of generating additional tips and corroborating information. The suspects are described as a white male and a white female believed to have acted together.

Authorities noted several identifying details, including the male suspect’s distinctive shoe color and a hooded sweatshirt featuring a small U.S. flag on the chest and a larger U.S. flag with a buck image on the back.

Investigators are also seeking information about a suspected getaway vehicle, described as a Chevrolet Tahoe with a noticeable LED light bar across the roof and distinctive wheels.

Police said leads developed so far suggest the individuals may be local, possibly from Franklin County or surrounding areas.

Anyone with information related to the burglary is encouraged to contact the Zeigler Police Department. Officials said public assistance remains critical to advancing the investigation.
