A break from storms this week.
Heavy rains last night into this morning prompted the need for a Flood Warning in a large portion of Missouri through tomorrow.
Storms south could be severe until later tonight.
The SPC shows a marginal risk of severe storms for some of us.
Lows overnight will average five to ten degrees below normal.
Highs tomorrow will be nearly ten degrees below normal.
We gradually warm up with temperatures becoming hot later this week.
A cold front will continue to drop south tonight taking the showers and thunderstorms with, allowing for clearing skies overnight providing a cool and sunny Monday. As surface high pressure settles in we start to warm up on Tuesday with sunshine remaining the trend along with a heat wave rolling in by Thursday into the weekend.
