Cool heading into the weekend
80s for highs are expected through the weekend, but we warm up into the lower 90s by next week. There are only a couple chances for rain over the next several days.
We did get another round of rain Thursday. There we several areas that didn’t see any, but those that did saw a tenth to a half inch of rain.
There’s a small chance for rain on Friday, but much of the day will be dry. Some spotty showers will be possible in the afternoon and evening.
The best chance for rain will be the further south you go. StormCast has this chance starting as early as Friday afternoon.
Highs on Friday will be much cooler than average. Most of us will get into the lower and middle 80s.
With all of the rain we’ve seen lately, the Skeeter Meter will be high to very high.
