Lows tonight look to be seasonally mild in the lower 40s.
Clear skies are in the forecast tonight for Cape Girardeau with winds picking up out of the south through the overnight.
Above-average highs return to the region on Friday afternoon, with many of us seeing the 60s.
We stay quiet heading into the start of the weekend ahead of an incoming cold front on Sunday. Temperatures during the afternoon will be warm, followed by a chance for showers and thunderstorms, which may turn over to a wintry mix early Monday morning. Highs will be much cooler to start next week.
