Partly Sunny, Seasonably Cool for Saturday
Heading into the weekend, temperatures will continue to feel like winter in southeast Missouri, with most of this evening spent below freezing.
Temperatures this evening will remain below average, with overnight lows across the region in the mid-to-upper 20s.
Cloud cover increases tonight in Cape Girardeau with winds out of the south. Despite partly cloudy skies, overall temperatures will still slip below average into the upper 20s.
Saturday looks to be closer to average across the region with highs in the 40s, with the occasional spot reaching the lower 50s.
Partly sunny skies to start the weekend in Cape, with temperatures slightly below average in the mid-40s.
Outside of partly cloudy skies, Stormcast shows a very small chance of rain late Saturday. Better, but still small chances for rain come later in the weekend.
Another blast of cold air puts us back in the 30s to start next week, with seasonable temperatures to follow. Highs will try for the lower 50s before returning below average late next week with heavier cloud cover.
