Severe storms Sunday: March 15, 2026
A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for the entirety of the viewing area and is in effect until 11:00 p.m. CDT on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

The entire viewing area is in a level 3 out 5 “Enhanced Risk” for severe storms this afternoon and evening.
The tornado threat is fairly high. EF-2 strength tornadoes will be possible with the storms that move through. The highest risk for this is the area shaded in yellow.
The damaging wind risk is just as high. Wind gusts in excess of 65 mph are likely. Power outages are possible.
Large hail is also a possibility, but the risk is lower than the damaging wind and tornado potential.
Below shows the timing of the storms as they move through our area. The will be moving from west to east.
