Warming up Through the Weekend

Temperatures will be on the rise for the back half of the work week across the Heartland. High temperatures return to the 70s on Thursday afternoon.

We will see passing cloud cover across the viewing area, though the latest runs of StormCast elect to keep us dry.

Low temperatures on Wednesday evening will be seasonally warmer. We will likely still need a jacket for the Thursday morning commute.

Variable cloud cover is expected tonight in Cape Girardeau. Winds will stay on the lighter side as temperatures fall to the lower 40s.

Temperatures will be well above average for much of the Heartland on Thursday. Many of us are looking at temperatures in the 70s during the afternoon.

We only get warmer for the official start of spring on Friday, and the warming trend continues through the weekend. We may even see the 80s before “cooling off” for the start of next week. A second warm stretch will start by the middle of next week.
