2 Bardwell men arrested after KSP investigates sexual relationship between man, juvenile female

CARLISLE COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two Bardwell men face charges after Kentucky State Police investigated a report of an inappropriate sexual relationship between an adult male and a juvenile female.
Kentucky State Police Post 1 received a report of an inappropriate sexual relationship between an adult male and a juvenile female on March 18.
Kentucky State Police say Joshua Booth, 28, of Bardwell had engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sexual gratification with a 16-year-old female in Carlisle County.
KSP troopers determined Booth was aware of the juvenile’s age at the time of the sexual relationship, according to KSP.
Booth was arrested on March 25 and charged with rape 3rd degree, sodomy 3rd degree and unlawful transaction with a minor – illegal sex act.
KSP investigators also determined that Scott Wilson, 50, of Bardwell had been in a caretaking role of the juvenile at the time of her relationship with Booth. Wilson is accused of placing hidden cameras in the juvenile’s bedroom and bathroom of the home. After admitting to having video footage of the juvenile engaging in sexual performance, KSP investigators say Wilson refused to turn over the footage to KSP.
Wilson is also accused of tampering with the cameras and removing them prior to KSP troopers executing a search warrant at the home.
Wilson was arrested on March 24 and charged with video voyeurism, possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, and tampering with physical evidence.
