Country music star releases music video featuring Mayfield, KY
MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – A newly released music video by country star Trace Adkins features Mayfield, Kentucky.
The song is called “Somewhere in America.” The music video features Adkins visiting a makeshift memorial in downtown Mayfield where the courthouse used to stand.
Mayfield was hit by an EF-4 tornado in December 2021.
The concert footage in the video is from a concert Adkins did on the high school football field in Mayfield on May 20.
The song was written by Jon Nite, Hunter Phelps, Michael Hardy and Zach Crowell. It wasproduced by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George.
