Cape Girardeau Parks and Rec hosts Health and Wellness Fair at Osage Centre

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation hosted a Health and Wellness Fair at the Osage Centre on Saturday.

This free event featured more than 80 vendors and provided visitors with a one-stop shop for everything health and wellness, from health screenings to group fitness demos and kids activities to cooking demos.

Fitness and wellness specialist Christine Jaegers revealed what she enjoys most about putting on this event.

“Bringing everyone together for one fun day, realizing it can be fun to be healthy,” she said. “You try all sorts of fun, delicious foods, you try new fitness classes that we have available and see all of the amazing vendors that are here in the community that you can visit and see what they have to offer.”
