Hayti teacher accused of sexual contact with student

HAYTI, Mo. (KBSI) – A teacher at Hayti R-2 School District faces sexual contact with a student charges.

Maurice Lanale Farr Jr. faces two counts of sexual contact with a student.

He is accused of texting with a child. Farr and the child victim spoke about having sexual intercourse more than once. The child told police she and Farr has been in a relationship that started in August 2023.

Farr is accused of having sex with the child at his home in Hayti in August and in September of 2023.

An arraignment is scheduled for Monday, March 18.
