Cool couple of days, storms likely for Sunday
The average high for early April is in the middle 60s, but we’ll be a few degrees cooler than that heading into the weekend. Precipitation chances hold off until late Saturday into Sunday, then we dry back out just in time for the solar eclipse.
Cooler than average for most of us on Friday. Highs will try for 60 degrees with a light north breeze and partly cloudy skies.
We’ll start the day about 10 degrees below average for the low (43 is the average low), so warming up will prove difficult.
It won’t take long to get the 70s back in here, though. 70 by Sunday, then the middle 70s for the solar eclipse on Monday!
Speaking of the solar eclipse, above is a video that shows the timing of the beginning, peak, and end of the eclipse. Happy viewing!
Recent models do have a few clouds around for the eclipse Monday, but it also has areas of clear skies. This is looking like a partly cloudy kind of day.
