A high school student brought a gun to school

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (KBSI) – A Fredericktown high school student brought a firearm to school this morning.

According to the Fredericktown R-1 Schools Facebook page sometime this morning on May 1o, a situation occurred that involved a student and a firearm.

The firearm was confiscated by the school’s resource officer.

According to the school, law enforcement and school administration responded immediately.

They say the student has been removed from school grounds and ‘appropriate action was taken.’

The post also states that no students or staff were harmed.
