Authorities investigating theft from bank ATM in Puxico

PUXICO, Mo. (KBSI) – Law enforcement are looking for three people after money was stolen from an ATM machine at a bank in Puxico.

Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner says the sheriff’s office was notified of an alarm call at First Midwest Bank in Puxico around 4:51 a.m. on Sunday, May 19.

Law enforcement discovered that the ATM machine had been broken into and an undisclosed amount of money was missing.

Stoddard County Sheriff’s deputies say the vehicle used in the theft had been stolen from the Dexter area.

Authorities are looking for three black males.

Stoddard County Sheriff’s deputies and Puxico police officers are investigating.

Authorities the incident could potentially be related to similar thefts that occurred and Poplar Bluff and Rolla, Missouri.

No suspects are in custody.
