K9 retires from Paducah police department

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A ceremony was held to celebrate the retirement of a Paducah police K9.
While serving with the Paducah Police Department, K9 Joker has conducted numerous vehicle searches, article searches, tracks, and community presentations.
K9 Joker and his handler, Officer Will Hendrickson, graduated K9 training from Vohne Liche Kennels in the summer of 2020.
Officer Hendrickson and Joker have worked 3rd shift in the operations division.
K9 Joker received lots of dog treats and enjoyed a retirement cake at the ceremony.
K9 Joker will spend his retirement at Officer Hendrickson’s home.
The Paducah Police Department says K9 Joker has been a great asset to their department.
