Kentucky troopers, officers, and telecommunicators responded to more than 1400 calls during winter storm

KENTUCKY(KBSI) – Kentucky State Police respond to more than 1400 calls.

Kentucky troopers, officers and telecommunicators, responded to 1,450 calls over Saturday and Sunday on January 4 and 5 as winter weather hit the state.

According to KSP that’s a 70% increase compared to an average weekend.

Troopers, officers and telecommunicators worked tirelessly around the clock to answer calls and provide aid.

KSP responded to nearly 300 stranded motorist’s calls as winter weather rolled through the Kentucky area.
