Two men face theft charges after being caught on trail camera

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two men face charges after deputies say they were caught stealing on trail cameras.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office on Jan 11, 2025, they received a report that items had been taken from storage sheds at a residence in Hamlin and the theft had been caught on trail cameras.
Deputies were able to identify the subjects and recover some of the property that was stolen.
Warrants were issued for the suspects identified as 32-year-old Larry Hernandez and 47-year-old Charles D. Freeland.
On Jan 18, 2025, deputies say they were located.
Larry Hernandez of Paris, Tn faces charges of:
-Burglary 3rd Deg (Class D felony)
-Theft by Unlawful Taking $500-$1000
Charles D. Freeland of Murray, Ky faces charges of:
-Burglary 3rd Deg (Class D felony)
-Theft by Unlawful Taking $500-$1000
Both were taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
