Sheriff’s department receives $500 donation from Marshall County Elks Lodge

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – Marshall County Sheriff Hilbrecht expressed gratitude to Marshall County Elks Lodge 2707 for their generous donation of $500 to the Kentucky Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Ranch.

The donation comes as the ranch celebrates 50 years of service.

Since its inception, the ranch has focused on teaching children valuable life skills such as teamwork, nature appreciation, and spiritual growth, while also fostering trust between youth and law enforcement.

The ranch hosts summer camps for children aged 8-11, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to grow and develop.

Sheriff Hilbrecht’s appreciation for the Elks Lodge’s support underscores the importance of community partnerships in supporting local youth initiatives.
