EBO MD 3rd annual Fore the Scouts Golf Classic set for April 18

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The EBO MD 3rd Annual Fore the Scouts Golf Classic will tee off at Cape Girardeau Country Club on April 18, 2025, to support Scouting efforts in southeastern Missouri.

The event aims to raise awareness and funds for local Scouting programs, including camperships, financial aid and public-school education programs.

Team registration is $500, with all funds supporting Scouting in southeastern Missouri.

Participants can expect a day of golf, friendly competitions, hole-in-one contests and prizes, including a $10,000 hole-in-one contest. Food, beverages and giveaways will be provided by local sponsors.

Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m., with lunch at 11 a.m. and tee-off at noon. For more information, visit Greater St. Louis Area Scouting or contact the Ritter Scout Service Center in Cape Girardeau.

The Shawnee District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, BSA, covers Scouting activities in Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry, Northern Stoddard and Northern Scott counties. The district provides programs for over 1,100 youth.
