Woman charged with aggravated battery, domestic battery in Marion

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — Law enforcement responded to a stabbing incident in the 100 block of E. Goodall Street on July 21, 2025.

A male victim reported being stabbed in the neck with a knife by his girlfriend, according to authorities. The female suspect, Bianca A. Moreno, retreated inside her residence and refused to come out.

After nearly an hour of negotiations, Moreno exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. She was transported to the Williamson County Jail and charged with aggravated battery and domestic battery.

The male victim, whose name has not been released, was treated and released by medical personnel.

Note: All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
