Manifolds on Main car show set for Sept. 14 in downtown Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The River City Rodders Car Club and Old Town Cape will host the 47th annual Manifolds on Main car show Sept. 14 in downtown Cape Girardeau.
More than 250 cars and trucks are expected, with entries coming from across Missouri and neighboring states. Vehicles will be displayed along Main Street and in the downtown parking lot across from Hutson Furniture.
Trophies will be awarded in more than 30 classes, covering vehicles from 1900 through 2025. Special honors include Rodder’s Choice, Old Town Cape’s Choice, Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., with judging beginning at noon and awards at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle. Admission is free to the public, and event t-shirts will be available for purchase.
The event is sponsored by several local businesses, including Advanced Dermatology of Southeast Missouri, Century Casino Cape Girardeau, Plaza Tire Service, and others.
The River City Rodders have hosted the fall tradition for decades, moving it from Capaha Park to downtown Cape in 2007 to highlight downtown development and promote local businesses.
