Pleasant Wednesday, Chilly Overnight Into Thursday
Forecast:
A beautiful fall day ahead in the Heartland with highs on Wednesday reaching the lower 70s. A northeast wind will bring a fall feeling to Cape Girardeau over the next couple of days.
After we saw showers in the first half of the work week, stormcast keeps us fairly quiet over the coming days.
Overnight lows will feature the 40s for many of us across the Heartland. Northeasterly winds continue to funnel in cooler air across the region.
A chilly, but near-average evening ahead for Cape Girardeau. Lows tonight will be in the upper 40s with mostly clear skies.
Most of us return to the lower 70s again on Thursday with winds out of the east-northeast.
In Cape, we should see pleasant day ahead with plenty of sunshine. Our high on Thursday looks to be in the lower 70s.
Temperatures warm up this weekend into the upper 70s. Mostly sunny skies continue for the remainder of the 7-day forecast and highs return to the lower 80s early next week.
