Beussink, Ritter and Gwaltney join Saint Francis Emergency Department and Cape Trauma Specialists

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Saint Francis Healthcare System has announced the addition of Wendi Beussink, APRN, FNP-C; Abby R. Ritter, MD; and Grace J. Gwaltney, PA-C, to its Emergency Department and Cape Trauma Specialists.
The Emergency and Trauma Center at Saint Francis Medical Center is the only state-designated Level III emergency and trauma center in southeast Missouri, providing care to nearly 38,000 patients each year.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the center’s trauma surgeons deliver life-saving care for patients suffering from severe injuries such as those sustained in motor vehicle crashes and falls. They lead a multidisciplinary team that evaluates, resuscitates, stabilizes, and operates on trauma patients while coordinating closely with emergency physicians.
