Community Counseling Center Foundation donates to Child Safety Program

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office is expressing gratitude to the Community Counseling Center Foundation for its donation in support of the National Child Safety Council (NCSC).

Founded in 1955, the NCSC is the only child-safety organization in the nation with a network of coordinators who work directly with public safety agencies to promote safety education.

The council provides educational materials to children through community programs, school initiatives, and local events across Cape Girardeau County.

“The Sheriff’s Office is deeply grateful for community partners and their continued support in helping educate and protect the youth of our county,” officials said in a statement.
