PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) will dedicate its newest campus expansion during its annual Veterans Day observance on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at 1172 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Perryville.
The ceremony, held at the symbolic 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, will commemorate both Veterans Day and the continued growth of the memorial’s campus — a reflection of MNVM’s mission to honor and remember all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
MNVM Executive Director Rae Lynn Munoz, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran will deliver remarks highlighting the meaning of Veterans Day, the memorial’s expansion, and the enduring spirit of service among America’s veterans.
This phase of expansion includes new sidewalks that will serve as the foundation for future monuments, including the Bell Tower, the Gold Star Family Monument, and Laying Down the Burden, a forthcoming monument dedicated to veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
“Each expansion of our campus strengthens our promise to every veteran and their family,” Munoz said.
“These sidewalks don’t just connect monuments — they connect stories of sacrifice, resilience, and remembrance for generations to come.”
The event is free and open to the public.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and seating.
