Gordonville firefighters assist with vehicle fire on Highway AB

GORDONVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Gordonville Fire Protection District assisted with a vehicle fire early Friday following a mutual aid request from the Delta Fire Protection District, officials said.

Fire crews were dispatched at about 6:20 a.m. to State Highway AB after reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a vehicle fire. Gordonville responded with Tanker/Pumper 3611 from Station 3 and Tanker 3615 from Station 1.

Upon arrival, Gordonville personnel assisted Delta firefighters with fire suppression and overhaul operations. Authorities said the incident ended without any reported injuries.

Officials noted the outcome was fortunate given the potential severity of the crash and fire.
