Two arrested on arson charges in connection to Calloway County fire

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — Two men have been arrested in connection with a residential fire in Calloway County that investigators determined was intentionally set, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Anthony Regan, 58, of Dexter, and Derek Davis, 52, of Benton, were arrested March 16 on indictment warrants following an investigation into a fire on Curd Cemetery Road.

Calloway County Fire Rescue determined the fire, which occurred May 20, 2025, was suspicious. Detectives later concluded the two men acted together to set the fire, authorities said.

Regan was arrested in Marshall County by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and is being held at the Marshall County Detention Center. Davis is being held at the Calloway County Detention Center.

Regan is charged with second-degree arson and persistent felony offender. Davis is charged with second-degree arson conspiracy.
