Food distribution event to provide produce to Lyon County residents

LYON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging residents to attend a Feeding America food distribution event Tuesday at Lee S. Jones Park-Convention Center.

The distribution is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Officials said residents must enter the park using the one-way traffic circle located to the right upon entering the park.

Food items available during the distribution include potatoes, apples, onions and carrots.
