KY 93 South reopens after garbage truck crash in Lyon County

LYON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Kentucky 93 South in Lyon County reopened Monday night following an injury crash involving a garbage truck.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the roadway was closed between Friendship Road and Kentucky 274 for several hours while crews worked the scene and completed recovery efforts.

Officials said the crash involved a Trigg Trash truck. The driver suffered only minor injuries and scrapes.

The roadway reopened around 9:35 p.m.
