Poplar Bluff celebrating America’s 250th with All-American Weekend

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation will host Bluff’s All-American Weekend on June 5-6 at Ray Clinton Park.

The two-day event will feature family activities, community events, live music, vendors and food trucks as part of a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

Friday’s events begin at 5 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes a kickoff ceremony, demolition derby, monster truck show and drone show.

Saturday’s activities are free and include the Stars & Strides 5K, a dog show hosted by Zoe’s Club, Heroes for Kids, a summer reading kickoff, a cruise-in, contests, bounce houses, a water slide, foam party, face painting and a scavenger hunt.

Organizers said the event is made possible through support from local community partners.
