SALINE COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — An Eldorado man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of producing child sexual abuse material.

According to Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office, Jody Allen, 32, was sentenced Friday in Saline County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to four counts of production of child sexual abuse material.

Allen was arrested in March after investigators with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System Southern Illinois Regional Team executed a search warrant at his residence in Eldorado.

At the time of his arrest, Allen was charged with one count of production of child sexual abuse material, four counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material and one count of unlawful recording of a minor in a bathroom.

Attorney General Raoul said the case was part of ongoing efforts by the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and its law enforcement partners to investigate and prosecute child exploitation offenses.

The case was prosecuted by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in cooperation with the Saline County State’s Attorney’s Office.
